LG Launched #DhaakadPhone K10 (2017) Smartphone With SOS Feature

India (22nd February, 2017) : Electronics giant LG Electronics launched its new smartphone in India named K10 or we can say 'Dhaakad Phone'. The smartphone called itself a 'Dhaakad Phone' because of its safety & design features and a special ‘panic button’ as per the Government of India guidelines. The smartphone will be available via retail stores from 23rd Feb at price tag of 13,990. 

The K10 (2017) smartphone supports a 5.3 inch HD In-cell Touch (1280 x 720) display which is not a Full-HD display. Powered by Mediatek 1.5 Ghz Octa-Core processor with Mali T860MP2 GPU. The smartphone also have 2Gb ram and 16Gb of internal storage. 

Talking about the camera, it have 13mp autofocus camera with LED flash for some good clicks and for selfies there is a 5mp front camera which can take some good selfies and record videos in full HD. The LG K10 (2017) runs Android 7.0 (Nougat) and have a 2800mAh removable battery which is quite different as all smartphones nowadays have non-removable battery.

LG Electronics is the first company to adhere to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) recommendation to have a single number ‘112’ for all emergency calls in the mobile phones across the country, which is referred to as the Panic Button implementation.

Also, Mr. Pankaj Mahindroo, Founder and National President, Indian Cellular Association said, "The emergency dialing number 112 is the need of the hour. I would like to thank LG for starting and leading this noble effort to begin which is ordered by the Government of India."
